Week 11: Events postponed

To Parents, Guardians, Students and Community Members,

We know interruptions to our usual College operations are disappointing to many. This week we had a number of planned events, which will still go ahead but at a later date. It has been great to see our students coming prepared with masks and to date, we have only given out a small number of masks. We will have masks available throughout the week as needed.  This week is a week of celebration and whilst the way we celebrate it might be different, we will still be delivering to our community a brilliant NAIDOC week. It might not look exactly as we had planned, but it will still deliver the message intended. All decisions for postponements have been made with the deepest respect and care for our community, and their ongoing health, safety and wellbeing.
Postponed events this week:
• NAIDOC week assembly deferred to  Friday, 23 July
• NAIDOC week VIP morning tea, deferred to Friday, 23 July
• Torres Strait Islander dance performance deferred TBA
• Parent Night deferred to 26 July
• RAC art exhibition deferred to the 22 July
Details regarding these events, including specific timings will be forwarded shortly.
We are currently awaiting further information regarding the planned Perth Zoo excursion on Friday, as well as information relating to a number of other excursions planned for later this week. We will communicate information as it becomes available.
Thank you to our wonderful community for all the support given to date. We appreciate our families and community, and their ongoing commitment to our school.
