Secondary Assistance Scheme
The Secondary Assistance Scheme is available to parents/guardians with children enrolled in secondary schooling who hold an eligible concession card.
Years 7 to 12 you may be eligible for up to $350 towards school expenses, if you hold a:
- Centrelink Health Care Card
- Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
- Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card.
The concession card must:
- be valid for at least 4 weeks
- be valid for some time within Term 1, 2026 (2 February to 2 April 2026)
- have the student listed on it
- not be expired at the time of applying for SAS.
