Senior School Curriculum Handbook

Welcome to the Senior School Curriculum Handbook—your guide to planning a successful and meaningful Senior School journey at Cecil Andrews College.

This handbook is a valuable resource for students and families to understand the wide range of subjects and pathways available in Years 11 and 12.  Whether your goals include university, TAFE, apprenticeships, or entering the workforce, this guide will help you make informed decisions that support your aspirations.

Students are encouraged to read through the handbook carefully and consider their strengths, interests, and career goals when selecting subjects.

Course Counselling Support

In Term 3, all Year 10 students will participate in Course Counselling to assist with their subject selections for Senior School.  During this process, families can book meetings via Compass Conferences to book an after-school appointment to finalise their student’s course selections for 2026.  Course Counsellors will provide personalised advice based on academic performance, career interests, and post-school goals.

This is a key step in ensuring students are on the right path, whether they are aiming for an ATAR pathway, general subjects, vocational education and training (VET), or a combination of both.
